Customs, modern wheels in a classic style use today’s better better tire technology. If stock, stay with stock.

It really depends on the car. I personally prefer the classic or old skool wheels.

Depends on the car or truck and the style of the modification. For example, to me, a highly modified, chopped and lowered 51 Merc would look good with modern wheels, a 57 Chevy in original configuration would not.
