I’ve been looking for a ’48-’53 5 window Chevy truck for some time now, and this one showed up on a local Craigslist ad. After a closer look, it appears to be intact and fairly straight. We’re going to make an offer on it tomorrow.

It appears there may be some title issues with this truck. There is no engine, but there is a door jam body tag with a vin number. The problem is, the vin on the body doesn’t match the vin on the title, since the title vin used the old engine vin. I’m going to have to do some research to figure out the process to get this cleared up. Here’s a thread about this same issue.

Hey before you do that I just picked up a 53 five window a ca truck body is in good shape it does have some top rust but this truck is in decent shape .the said it ran but I never bothered it has a v6 ..if u want a great truck to build I have on
