This is my 1965 Chevelle, Malibu. It has the original 283 rebuilt with a powerglide transmission and 3:73 rear gears. I spent 8 years doing a full ground up restoration on it. I installed new floorpans, trunkpans, outer wheelhouses, rear quarters, all new suspension, brakes, interior and mouldings. I like this car because it looks cool and it has a lot of history with it. This car used to belong to my father, he bought it in California back in 1976 during his time serving in the Marines. After his honorable discharge he drove this car all the way back to our current hometown of Stoughton Wisconsin with me at 4 years old and my mother. After I grew up and moved into my own house my father handed this car down to me. Together we fixed this car up and made it look new again. I take it to car shows with my 2 uncles who have classic cars as well.
