In this weekly update, Nick shows the plan for the rear suspension on the 1947 Chevy Fleetline and has decided on exactly what air bags he’s going with. This hot rod is going to be one mean street machine, with styling from a mild restomod, to lowrider, to pure sleeper. This 47 Fleetline is really going to be a great car for crusing, road trips, and hot rodding. Last year, I picked up a '46 Nash that I had planned on chopping and making into the lead sled of my dreams. Well, my plans changed. I had the opportunity to trade the Nash for a 1947 Chevy Fleetline. https://youtu.be/k11DDZPnpTQ As you can see, the Fleetline already a bunch of stuff done to it that I would have had to do to the Nash: chopped roof, modern front suspension/steering setup, and locating and procurement of all the body panels and trim. The car is in significantly better and shape and in my opinion, looks better too! Stay tuned for the build thread, or better yet, subscribe to our YouTube channel to stay up to..READ MORE
