The 1966 Chevy Nova isn’t typically someone’s first choice for pro touring. But, the truth is these cars have the right proportions and lines to make excellent looking restmonds. Give them a little bigger wheels, lower them to the ground just a bit, and stuff a big engine into the front. It’s a recipe for success.

I’ve owned 3 ‘66 Novas & they need serious suspension mods to be track worthy but are comfy enough for the touring part. They are fairly lightweight which is an advantage, but there are many manufacturers who make parts & even complete chassis (which they never got at the factory as they are unibody designs) to make these into comfortable, capable, corner burning, canyon carvers. My current ride is a ‘64, the previous body style.
