Well, its been a year now and I’ve got the L92 6.2L LS engine feeling right at home between the fenders of the 65 SS. It couldn’t have gone smoother. The 4L80E shifts through the gears nicely, and I’ve got the turn-key reliability of a new car, with the uniqueness and style that screams classic. The end result? A perfect combination of old in new. Sure, some of the old guys will repent my wheel choice, or the fact that I pulled out a 327, but you know what? This car puts a smile on face from ear to ear every time I reach for the door handle, and that my friends, is the point.

Your car is beautiful bro I got a 65 that I bought when I was 19 and I’m just starting to work on it i bought a 6.0 for it putting a hp cam but everything works at has Time I got my first baby boy that’s 5 and will be working on it together looking at your car and your son In it made me think about my son and I thank you for sharing your moments.

I bought a 65 Impala SS new with a 327 and a 4-speed.. Mine was Evening Orchid over Black and I also popped for the great looking faux wood steering wheel.. One inexpensive trick that I did to mine, was to paint the vertical grille bars flat black since they are recessed, and you have a faux billet grille. The car looks great
