That thing on the hood was probably the most effective hood scoop any factory ever put on a car. Certainly light years above Walt Disney stuff that GM and Ford did. I saw one of these cars run down in El Paso once and it was impressive! I’ll bet their owners suprised lots of people with them.

NOPE..it’s a 69 Scrambler, AMC and modified by HURST Corp.for AMC. Rare model…only 1512 were manufactured! Front disk brakes, Modifications :cam, carb. pistons, MSD ignition, Valve springs, 3 Point harnesses, bucket seats! For it’s size and light weight it was one of the fastest cars around with 390ci and 315 HP!!
