If I remember correctly, this is a ’56 Chevy.
My inlaws at the time, Ray & Anna Vaughn had one very similar to this, with a rebuilt engine.They let me drive it to work for awhile (when I got a job at Kmart in Joliet).
I still remember fondly how I could see over the dash & reach the gas pedal WITHOUT using any pillows!!

sweet, sweet, ride. Great colors! My Dad had a 57 Chevy Belair in Matador Red with a white roof! He had sevearl blue 55 and 56 Belairs (all blue) as work cars.

Hard Tops are the best looking. I prefer them to the posts. I have a 55 Bel Air Hard Top that I am slowly restoring. Very slow.

My parents had a 56 Belair 4 dr . My first car was a 55 Belair 2dr sedan.
