what engine does it have in it other than a mopar.
look at the top its a 1955 ford.
I do not recall any straight axle 55 Plymouths…Saw a few 57 and up done up this way, but none of the earlier ones………..A freind had his 53 Belvedere hardtop jacked up in front so it looked like a gasser, but that was to wade thru the snow in N.D while he was chasing fox or to check his mink traps on the way to H.S…
my dad had 2 of them.
Looks real nice
I would love to have another one myself.
I have owned two of them One I put a Red Ram Hemi in. The other a 318. The one with the 318 was about to receive a big make over with a Power Dome Hemi, a straight axel, which was popular at the tie. It would have been painted black, but the whole damn works was stolen. The Power Dome had been tricked out before I bought it. We even had bad guys back in the 60’s…
Real racers paint and keep their cars waxed to reduce drag. I waxed my Chevy before each drag week-end and wiped it down between runs.
My dad had a 56 Savoy when I was little.
Not my shade of green, but to each her/his own.
Holy lime ade! lol
I want one. 1955 Plymouth Belvedere.
Nah. Real racers don’t waste money on paint.
1955 Plymouth Belvedere.
What kind of car is this?
