Custom miniature classics

By GC_Daytona December 17 2012.

Not sure if anyone is familiar with a guy named Ernie Adams, but he builds miniature classics to scale, from scratch. He fabricates everything out of scrap, including the use of old refrigerator doors for the body panels. In the end, the only part he doesn't hand-design is the engine - which he takes from really old Toyotas. He builds them purely for the love and refuses to sell them though he has had generous offers. There are 6 in his current collection

Check out this teaser reel from a recent documentary shoot about the man: http://vimeo.com/53802142

I was assistant camera on this shoot and I thought some of the folks on here would appreciate a true enthusiast like Ernie. I'm curious to hear some of your thoughts!
