Goodguys Colorado 2012 Pictures (Shelby Cobra)
Such a fun weekend! We just got back from the 2012 Goodguys Colorado Show and had a great time! The weather was super hot on Saturday and tons of cars were out! We snapped a bunch of pictures which we'll be adding to the event page, but I wanted to add a couple of my favorites.

This Cobra is without a doubt the nicest cobra I have ever seen. I spoke with the owner who let me know that it has over 1000 horsepower at the rear wheels, and weighs just a tad over 2200 lbs. He built this car by hand in his basement, including some fantasitc carbon fiber work where normal Cobras sport chrome, This was my favorite car at the show and the paint choice was so eye catching! I love it.

This 1964 Mustang was an amazing custom job with such great detail. The body of this pony sports some very one-off details, including air scoops on the top of the fenders, molded lower valances around the entire car, and custom trunk lid molding. I liked everything about this car - and the detail that was put into it was fantastic!

66' Corvette much? This one was sweet! Not only is this one in perfect, but the owner was having a blast taking it around the track during the Goodguys AutoCross event out in the parking lot.

Do you know what this car is? Me either. Until I looked at the sign in front of it that told people its a mash up between a 50's Chevy and a 34' Desoto.

Who doesn't like a 69' Mustang? This one is sure to be a show stopper anywhere it goes. Let me tell you; it's also a beast on the AutoCross track. Then again, it's not exactly a sleeper.

This was one of my favorite Chevelles at the show. It had a beautiful black paintjob with red interior. Big custom wheels really set this one apart. That's the motto, for sure.
