A New Concept on an Old Classic.
December 16, 2008 – 5:49 amI had the great pleasure in May 2008, of meeting Rodney Chapman. Rodney is the owner and creator of the 1971 DustAAR. That’s right, DustAAR.
Rodney took his love for the basic 71 Plymouth Duster and combined it with his passion for the AAR Cuda, and when he combined the two, DustAAR was created.
Since DustAAR was introduced to the public, it has only been shown at a few select events, and has been featured in several popular Mopar Magazines. DustAAR is definately a one of a kind car, and is the envy of Duster fans everywhere.
I have had the distinct pleasure of visiting Rodney’s home near St Louis, and seeing the place where DustAAR was created, and what a sight it is. But the secrets that make this car so unique are just that, SECRETS. Even though I toured Rodney’s place, locked doors were off limits.

Hey Rodney, You stole my thunder… Only kidding.. Great job on the DustAAR.. I am in the process of building a 74 Duster with a 6-pak setup. Unfortunately, its on hold for now.
