Biggest Supercharger on a Muscle Car
I came across a video on youtube today with what appeared to be the biggest supercharger that I had ever seen. It was on a early Camaro and it looked wild. I was able to track down some more pictures of it to confirm that it wasn’t a camera trick, or a Photoshop wizard at work. Take a look…
Here is the video that I found. I can’t imagine how anyone could see out of the drivers seat while heading down the strip. I guess they would just have to keep the wheel straight and hope for the best. I would love to see this car race the blown 1965 Impala that we saw in Columbus.
For those of us who are not too familiar with the inner workings of a supercharger, here is a nice article that talks about how they work. Does any one else have any more info about this car? Thoughts?

This past Friday a few of us rolled out to Sandpoint Idaho for our first car show of the year! Lost in the 50s, an annual event, starts off with an evening car cruise down the main street. This year, David cruised both his 62′ Impala SS and his 72′ Corvette. We were able to snap some pretty cool pictures during the cruise. These are some of our favorites:
And, what would lost in the 50s be without a few flame throwers?
Also, we missed our friends from RBI, but there will be plenty more shows this year…

The bad news: the price of stamps just went up and there isn’t much we can do about it.
The good news: stamps will be available with cool classic car pictures!
The U.S. Postal service will be releasing a limited number of stamps with classic car pictures on them, with artwork by Art. M. Fitzpatrick. Featuring a 1959 Caddy Eldorado, 57′ Chrysler, ’57 Lincoln, ’57 Pontiac, and more, these stamps will be available this fall. Get yours while you can…

8th Annual Garden City River Rod Run
I got really excited when I read about a classic car show and cruise in Missoula Montana. Then I saw the date: Hoopfest weekend. There goes that idea…
If I wasn’t such an avid basketball player, I would most definitely make the couple-hour trip to Missoula for this great sounding event. Has anyone been to this show in the past? Share your stories…

Gearing up for the First Show of the Year
Today’s sunny weather is bringing out my anticipation for next weekend’s Lost in the 50s car show in Sandpoint, Idaho. Perhaps my posts here and here weren’t enough to stir up some excitement, so I thought I would remember what last year looked like.
I drove out to the cruise on Friday night, leaving work as early as I could. But - there was a lot of traffic on the road and I missed the majority of the cruise. There were lots of sweet cars parked along side of the streets so I was able to get a few pictures.
This year, I plan on getting out there early and snapping some photos before the cars leaving the parking lot on the cruise. I have always loved hearing all of those cars start their engines at the same time. I’ll make sure to arrive early this year. After all - I’ve been waiting all winter for this!
