Send us info about your classic car project for our top 10 list!
Last August, we took some time to put together a little list of the top classic car websites for classic car enthusiasts. This turned out to be one of the most popular posts that we made all year. Lots of people have e-mailed me their own picks and suggestions and I always love hearing about new sites that I haven’t discovered. This got me to thinking about all of the people out there who are currently working on their own projects and don’t have a way to show them off to the world. So, I began to think about the many personal websites there are out there where people are documenting their projects from the initial stages to the completion. I would love to make a new list of the top 10 classic projects that are currently underway. So - if you have a project that you are working on and you have been posting pictures and updates to a website or blog - send me an e-mail or post in the comments so that we can take a look!
If you are working on a project but you dont have a website, contact me here and I can set you up with your very own category on this blog to publish pictures and status info about your resto/hot rod project.
I look forward to seeing all of your projects!
1 commentCustom Fiberglass/Metal Consoles are the Ticket
If you are looking for something to dress up the interior of your classic car, you might want to check out some custom fiberglass or metal consoles. When they are painted or powder-coated to match the other colors of the car, they can look amazing!
Here is a great one that we spotted at the Goodguys car show last year, which houses a nice CD player and some other custom brushed aluminum controls.

As Nick checks out this sweet 1965 Impala SS at the Coeur d’Alene car show Car d’Lane, he is getting a little inspiration for his own 65′ Impala SS that was still sitting in the garage with a bum quarter panel. That is where it still sits today, but now that he has taken possession of a brand new quarter panel skin, it won’t be long now before he starts to roll the paint on…with a roller. More on this soon.

Arizona is the scene for one of the most expensive classic car auctions in history. Do you have some extra cash laying around? Why not drop it on one of the baddest mustangs that money can buy? Lots and lots of money that is…
ClassicCar.com wrote about this sweet 1967 Shelby mustang - which happens to be one of the rarest with a great history to back it up. 5 mill and you can drive home at 170 MPH if you want…

Who would have thought that the largest American classic car show is actually located in Sweden? Well, it is.
The Power Big Meet is an annual event held in Västeräs, Sweden each year, and 2008 will mark the 31st gathering for the event. In 2007, over 10,000 American classic cars were in attendance. Jay Leno’s crew even presented an award.
So - has anyone ever been to this event? Can you share some details?
