Bright Yellow Cars always Stand Out

Every time I am driving down the street and I catch a yellow blur in my peripheral vision, I instinctively snap my head around to get a better look. I don’t know how else to explain it - yellow just does it to me.

Something about a glowing yellow classic car looks almost delicious. Like Candy. I have seen a few fine examples at shows and they always paralyze me with excitement.

What is your favorite color on classic cars, and why?

Classic Car Podcast

I found a great little podcast (MP3) with a couple of guys discussing the value of classic Mopars. I found this very informative - especially how detailed they explain how the values of these cars have increased over the years and what makes them so valuable.

There are not very many classic car podcasts out on the web. If you know of one that is worth mentioning, please let us know and post it in the comments section of this post.

Who knows; we might be publishing a Classic Nation Podcast in the future! :)

2+2 T-Birds - Where have they gone?

I remember an old T-Bird that was sitting along side of a back country road that I would pass now and then (before I had my mustang) and I had aspirations of buying it and fixing it. Then one day, it was gone. I haven’t thought much about it until now, when I came across this great picture of a big-bodied T-Bird.

I don’t see these very often anymore - one the street or at car shows. I was wondering…why do you think these cars are not very popular for restoring and rodding?

Classic Cars in Alameda California - Who Knew?

The guys over at Jalopnik have taken some great pictures of the classic cars that line the streets of Alameda California. No, this is not a car show. Apparently, this area is just crawling with classic car lovers so they happen to be parked on the street. I wish every town looked like this!

Here are some of our favorites. Jump on over to view the entire collection.

Here is a great little 1947 Plymouth.
