The Most Popular Classic Car Wheel of All Time
January 8, 2007 – 9:28 pmClassic Cars can be found in all shapes, sizes, and colors - covering all spectrum’s of automotive history. Known for their uniqueness and style, classic cars have become recognizable as all together different. If there ever were one single factor of similarity for modified classic cars, it would be the wheel. And without a doubt, the most popular wheel for modified classic cars is the Torq Thrust II by American Racing.
They can be seen on just about every kind of classic car. From early model hot rods to late model muscle cars, the Torq Thrust wheel has become the wheel of choice for those with a classic auto project car in need of the right set of classic wheels. The American Racing wheel is widely recognized because of its polished aluminum (or gray) finish, or optional chrome 5 spoke design. The flowing lines of the Torq Thruster is a perfect fit for classic coupes, convertibles, sedans, lowriders, roadsters and trucks! I have yet to see a car that doesn’t look better with a set of these on them.
Until just recently, the Torq Thrust wheel was only available in sizes up to 17 inches. But, with the recent trend of the big wheel and low profile tire, they are now available in sizes up to 22 inches!
Without a doubt, these are the most popular option for custom car builders looking to add some spice to their auto project; not to mention my favorite of all time!
