Ok, so I couldn’t help myself. We havent finished compiling the entire album of 415 pictures from the Goodguys car show in Columbus, but I thought that I would post just a few of my favorite pictures. In the next few days (hopefully by next Monday) we will have the pictures ready to go, and you will be able to see our entire Goodguys car show in Columbus picture album; but for now these will have to do.

This is a great looking 1963 Impala with some super custom work done. As you can see, this isn’t the stock roof on this car, and it appears to be a bubble-top from an earlier version. This is one sweet car!

One of the nicest interiors that we saw at the show was on this mid 1960s Chevelle.

This 1951 Chevy had the brightest yellow paint of any car that I have ever seen before. I’m serious! If you have ever seen this car in person, you know what I am talking about.

This picture requires a few seconds to understand. Yes, this hot rod has two engines! (Almost - I will be posting more pictures of this car very soon)

We are currently thinking about designing a new logo for Classic Nation. A while back, our logo was this old classic car with flames.

I kind of like this logo, but I want something that stands out even a little more. A lot of classic car clubs have some really cool logos, and I would like to make memorable. If someone has experience creating classic car logos, drop us a line.

We are very excited to have just launched the Classic Nation Forum, a forum for all types of classic discussion.

The forum was designed to allow our readers and website visitors to interact with each other, and share their stories and pictures of their own classic cars. We have added an easy spot to post classic car classifieds, and even a spot to list your own classic car shows and events.

As I posted last week about the car show in Columbus, I still havent been able to edit the pictures to put them online yet. Last week in Columbus at the Goodguys car show, there was something like 8000 cars! I don’t think that I was able to see them all, but we were able to snap off 400 + pictures of some of the best looking classics that I have ever seen.

Does it get any better?

Almost.

This past weekend we headed across the state to Puyallup (outside of Seattle) for the Goodguys Pacific Northwest Nationals Car Show. This one didn’t have nearly the 8000 cars from Columbus, but there certainly was no shortage of hot rides here! Unfortunately, we had some digital camera technical difficulties, and wern’t able to capture nearly as many as the weekend before, but I will be posting those here.

Did anyone else get to snap some shots at the Goodguys car show in Puyallup? Is so, send them to me and I would be happy to post them!

Wow! I have never seen so many classic cars and hot rods in one place!

This was the second time I had ever been to Columbus, Ohio, and it was the second time that I went to the Goodguys car show. This was supposed to be the biggest car show in the nation, and I definitely know why. I was at the show for two full days and I still didn’t get to see all of the street rods and customs there. I wish I could have been there a week!

Well, just to prove that we actually went there, I thought it might be cool to snap a few pictures of some of the cooler rides. 415 pictures later, I still feel like I didn’t scratch the surface.

So, I will be posting all of the car show pictures right here in the next few days. (First I have to manually resize each one)
