That little Rambler held it’s own. lol!
Had friend who had a red one 4 speed 390 ci. Broke lot’s of axle’s
I remember these, also had a hard top & a convertible. Nice car, I wanted one.
I know a few of them were built “unofficially” in 69, you can get it with this paint job and also a variety of colors. Not exactly the prettiest muscle car but gets respect.
Best ‘Bang for the Buck in it’s day, I don’t remember if the 401 was an option or not, who remembers the SCRambler?
frontend looks a little like my 64amc rambler.
These cars would surprise and embarrass a lot of people in their day. They were exceptionally fast, well-balanced, and looked darn good for a “Rambler” – lol.
the one I have in photo is a 343 Rebel not sure of trim lvl may also be 71 or 72
Damn! Don’t see too many of them!
its nice to see amc I had a 69 Javelin.
is a rare ride that always reminded me of 69 roadrunner.
I would rather have a red 1969 shelby cobra.
Just to clarify, that picture is a rebel sst.
I had a 1969 Z/28 Rally Sport Camaro,orange with white stripes,it was fast!
That’s the year I was born. 🙂
I watched Bobby Allison win the Darlington NASCAR race in one of those.
